Burnout hits India’s IT sector: One in four employees works over 70 hours a week, says survey

According to a recent survey, employees in India’s IT sector work extreme hours, with 72% regularly exceeding the legal 48-hour work week limit, and about 25% clocking over 70 hours a week.

According to a survey conducted in March by Blind, an anonymous community app for professionals, 83% report experiencing burnout.
