In a significant step towards digitisation and citizen convenience, the Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Department initiated a comprehensive land record reform campaign through the ‘Bihar Bhumi’ platform, allowing property owners to amend land documents from the comfort of their homes.
Launched on August 16, the state-wide program aims to correct land records for errors such as incorrect names, khata/khasra numbers, rakba, lagaan information, and entries made under the names of deceased ancestors, as reported by the Prabhat Khabar.
