Zerodha has announced the second and final tranche of investment of $675,000 in its $1 million annual fund supporting Free / Libre and Open Source Software (FOSS / FLOSS) projects globally.

” Along with the $325,000 from the first tranche, this brings the total to $1 million for the year,” wrote chief technology officer (CTO) Kailash Nadh in a blog post.

Ecommerce platform Meesho has filed its updated draft red herring prospectus (UDRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for an initial public offering (IPO) estimated at Rs 5,800–6,600 crore, including a primary issue of Rs 4,250 crore.

Meesho will become the first pure-play horizontal ecommerce marketplace to go public in the country.

A group of 55 Chinese iPhone and iPad users filed a complaint with China’s market regulator on Monday, a lawyer representing the group said, alleging that Apple abuses its market dominance by restricting app distribution and payments to its own platforms while charging high commissions.
