Praan Health, a lifestyle-first chronic care platform for parents aged 50 and above, has raised Rs 8.5 crore in a seed funding round  led by Rainmatter Investments with participation from WEH Ventures and angel investors, including Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari (PhysicsWallah) and Arjun Vaidya, among others.

The proceeds will be utilized to strengthen its product and technology capabilities, expand its clinical and coaching teams, and expand its service delivery across India, Praan Health said in a press release.

Lenskart made a tepid debut on the stock exchanges today, listing at a discount to its IPO price. The shares of the eyewear retailer opened at Rs 395 per share on the NSE, about 1.7% lower than the issue price of Rs 402, and at Rs 390 on the BSE, down nearly 3%.
