Atlassian Names Avani Prabhakar as Global Head of Talent and HR Business Partners

Atlassian Corporation, a leading provider of team collaboration and productivity software, has announced the appointment of Avani Prabhakar to the role of global head of talent and HR business partners.

In this newly established position, Prabhakar will be dedicated to enhancing performance as the company grows, streamlining operations across talent and employee programs, and expanding Atlassian’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. She will oversee a team of approximately 100 professionals responsible for human resource business partnerships, employment relations, talent management, mergers and acquisitions, and DEI efforts across Atlassian’s global presence.

Avani Prabhakar brings more than two decades of international experience in the technology, aviation, insurance, research, and analytics sectors across APAC, the Middle East, and the US. Over the past four years, she has been with Atlassian, serving as the head of human resources for the Asia Pacific region and as the global HR lead for Atlassian’s M&A team.

Prabhakar is deeply committed to shaping people strategy to achieve outcomes and instigating cultural transformations within organizations navigating periods of change.
