Architect AI Secures GBP 3.5 Million Seed Funding to Build the First Agentic Websites

Architect AI, the one-year-old startup pioneering the world’s first agentic website platform, today announced it has closed a GBP 3.5 million seed round. This round was led by Project A with the continued participation of Concept Ventures, early backers of Eleven Labs. Architect’s new capital will turbocharge product development, expand the engineering team, and scale go-to-market efforts across Europe and North America. Additional strategic investors include Insiders Ventures (started by the founders of FACEIT, $1.5B exit).

Every day, billions of visitors land on static websites – digital brochures that never adapt to the person behind the screen. Architect AI changes that. Its platform turns any site into a self-learning AI agent that observes visitor behavior, generates context-aware content, and automates workflows in real time. Two people visiting the same page can see entirely different experiences – tailored to their needs and interests.

“We call it giving your website a brain,” said Ted Eltringham, CEO and co-founder of Architect AI (formerly at Rippling and Samsara). “Because that’s literally what we’re doing. And once you see a website that can think, you can’t go back to one that can’t.”

“The response from customers has been overwhelming – this funding accelerates our ability to scale agent-driven sites that drive conversion and help organizations transform how they engage customers.” Chris Nicolas, Co-Founder & COO

Founding Team & Technical Prowess

  • Ted Eltringham, CEO – Brings extensive scale-up experience from Rippling and Samsara, where he led product and operations teams through rapid growth phases.
  • Luke Ramsden, Co-Founder & CPTO – A self-taught engineer, originally home-schooled, who built his first AI experiment at age 14 and later architected machine-learning systems for high-growth startups.
  • Chris Nicolas, Co-Founder & COO – Former SpaceX Program Manager, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical launch software.

Visitors can talk to the agentic site. Ask it questions. Challenge it. And the site responds by reorganizing itself around their needs. Every conversation makes it smarter. Every visit teaches it something new.

“Bringing Architect AI from prototype to production in under 12 months has been an incredible journey,” said Luke Ramsden. “With this fresh capital, we’ll grow our London engineering hub, deepen strategic partnerships, and open a larger U.S. office in early 2026.”

Investor & Client Endorsements

“Architect AI’s agentic web technology represents the next frontier in digital engagement,” said Malin Posern Partner at Project A. “Their rapid execution and visionary team convinced us they’re set to redefine how companies interact with online audiences.”

Early clients are already seeing transformative results:

“The platform’s ability to understand visitor intent and dynamically create content on the fly is extraordinary.” said Michael Hoy, CEO at Atlas. We’re not just seeing better engagement metrics; we’re having more meaningful conversations with our customers because the website itself can think and adapt. It’s a complete paradigm shift for what we thought a website could do”

Over the next six months, Architect AI plans to hire AI engineers and product managers and further develop its enterprise sales pipeline.
