Apple is projected to ship more smartphones than Samsung in 2025, a first in 14 years. According to Counterpoint Research, the tech giant will hold the top spot in the global smartphone market through 2029.
Apple will ship approximately 243 million iPhones this year, surpassing Samsung’s projected 235 million smartphone shipments, the global technology market research firm told CNBC. This would give Apple an estimated 19.4% share of the global smartphone market, edging out Samsung’s 18.7%.
