Anthropic is broadening Claude’s capabilities by integrating it with various apps and platforms. Building upon its “Integrations” feature launched in May, which utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for connecting to remote servers, Anthropic has introduced a directory of tools and new third-party connectors specifically designed for Claude.
This expansion allows Claude to interact with popular platforms like Notion, Canva, and Stripe. Moreover, it extends its reach to local desktop applications such as Figma, Socket, and Prisma. This integration enables Claude to function as a more versatile AI agent, capable of completing tasks and interacting with diverse digital environments. The move signifies Anthropic’s commitment to enhancing Claude’s functionality and making it a more integral part of users’ workflows.
