After Ritesh Agarwal, Zomato CEO Joins Shark Tank India as its new judge

After the tremendous success of the previous two seasons of Shark Tank India, Sony LIV has onboarded Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal as the new judge for its third season.

Prior to this, Hospitality giant OYO Rooms founder & CEO Ritesh Agarwal became the youngest shark to join the Shark Tank India Season 3.

This year, the panel will feature Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder of CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com), Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com), and Ritesh Agarwal (Founder and CEO of OYO Rooms), along with the new shark, Deepinder Goyal (Founder and CEO of Zomato).

However, a Moneycontrol report stated Goyal will be the judge for only two episodes of Shark Tank India 3 and those episodes could have Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh and Anupam Mittal as the other judges.

Announcing the development, Deepinder Goyal on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “I am here to learn, step outside my comfort zone, and add my two special cents to something crazy.”

All growth comes from discomfort.

I am here to learn, step outside my comfort zone, and add my two special cents to something crazy.

This is turning out to be a weekend well spent outside of @zomato.
