Tech.Future Hackathon 3.0 Ignites Innovation at BECON, IIT Delhi: A Triumph in Collaboration and Creativity

In a celebration of technological innovation, the Tech.Future Hackathon 3.0, organized by FITT, IIT Delhi, in collaboration with Meity Startup Hub and eDC IIT Delhi, unfolded at BECON, IIT Delhi on February 3, 2024. This event marked the triumphant third edition of the hackathon series initiated by FITT IIT Delhi, attracting over 100 registrations from tech enthusiasts across the country.

The hackathon centered around four pivotal challenges in technology innovation: E-Mobility, Green-Tech, Climate-Tech, and Health-Tech, aiming to spark creativity and problem-solving within these domains. From the pool of enthusiastic participants, the top 15 were selected to compete in the 12-hour hackathon that commenced at 9 am and concluded at 9 pm.

What set Tech.Future Hackathon 3.0 apart was its unique dual-phase mentorship approach. In the first half, sector-specific mentors guided participants in technical work, prototype development, and enhancement. During the second half, mentors provided valuable insights into business plans, scaling, marketing, and more. The evaluation, based on mentor reviews, led to the selection of the top 8 teams, which were then invited to present their innovations. Ultimately, the event crowned four outstanding winners.

The distinguished panel of mentors and judges included luminaries such as Sagar Mahat, Shweta Raka, Prof. Dibakar Rakshit, Dr. Ashutosh Pastor, Pratyush Majumdar, Anuj Guglani, Akash Shukla, Anurag R Iyer, Nemesisa Ujjain, Soarabh Pathak, Samriti Grover, Raushan Kumar, and Pankaj Dixit. Each member brought unique perspectives and leadership in their respective fields, enriching the hackathon experience.

Participating teams lauded the organizers for their dedication and extended support. Tech.Future Hackathon 3.0 proved to be a successful and collaborative space for tech minds to thrive. The commitment of the organizing team, combined with mentorship and innovative ideas, resulted in a memorable event that surpassed participants’ expectations. The positive feedback from teams underscores the event’s success and its significant impact on fostering innovation in technology.
