Redmi Buds 5 to launch in India on February 12: All the details |



Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is set to expand its product portfolio in India with the launch of a new TWS earbuds. The company took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), to announce the launch date of the upcoming Redmi Buds 5. These new earbuds were launched in China in 2023 and also made their way to other global markets a few weeks ago. Now, the Redmi Buds 5 is set to launch in India on February 12.
The company is promoting the upcoming audio wearables as the “#Superbuds”. A page for the Redmi Buds 5 has also been listed on Amazon.in. The listing comes with a “Notify Me” button and also reveals some of the key features of the TWS earbuds.

Redmi Buds 5: Expected price

The company hasn’t shared any details about the India pricing of the upcoming Redmi Buds 5. In China, the earbuds are priced at 199 yuan (which is nearly Rs 2,300). Meanwhile, the Redmi Buds 5 is listed at $46 (nearly Rs 4,000) in global markets. The earbuds are expected to arrive in India with a price similar to its global pricing.

Redmi Buds 5: Key details (confirmed)

The Amazon listing of Redmi Buds 5 reveals that upcoming earbuds will feature 12.4mm titanium drivers. The audio wearable also supports hybrid ANC up to 46db that promises to reduce the background noise and offer an immersive audio experience. The earbuds also come with multiple sound modes to adjust different moods and content.

For connectivity, the Redmi Buds 5 will also support features like dual-device pairing. Meanwhile, the earbuds dual-mic AI voice assistant feature promises to improve calling experience with these earbuds.

The company also claims that the Redmi Buds 5 earbuds will offer a total battery life of 38-hours (with the charging case). More details about the earbuds are expected to surface on its launch day.
