Shark Tank India featured Aliste Technologies raises $1 million to expand presence in India

Aliste Technologies, a Shark Tank India-featured smart home automation startup, has raised $1 million in a funding round led by YourNest Venture Capital and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from Dholakia Ventures, KRS Jamwal, and Anikarth Ventures. Existing backers in the company include 100X.VC.

Revolutionizing the home automation market

Founded in 2021 by a group of VIT batchmates – Aakarsh Nayyar, Anant Ohri, Bhavya Kansal, Konark Gautam, Shreyansh Jain, and Udit Pandoh – Aliste Technologies aims to revolutionize the home automation market. 

Anant Ohri, co-founder of the company said, “We see a major gap in the consumer IoT segment in India. Our products provide 10–15% savings on their monthly electricity bills. Our aim is to save electricity worth $1 million by 2025.”

The startup sells retrofit automation products, which enable users to control their existing home appliances through an app or voice assistants. Notably, It offers a unique subscription model, starting at just Rs 1 per appliance per day, making home automation accessible and affordable.

Focusing on expansion  

With this round of funding, Aliste Technologies plans to expand its presence throughout India. The startup, which already has a strong foothold in the Delhi-NCR region and Bengaluru, is looking to broaden its reach.

It claims to span over 2,500 residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, including collaborations with prestigious clients like The Taj group of hotels, Vouchagram India, and Stanza Living.
