In addition to successfully launching its prototype satellites for Project Kuiper, Amazon has signed a contract with SpaceX to deploy its satellite network. The company has booked three Falcon 9 launches with SpaceX, providing more capacity to support its deployment schedule. This move is significant as it competes directly with SpaceX’s Starlink network.
