GoKwik partners with ecommerce giant Flipkart to offer SuperCoins for D2C shoppers

GoKwik, a major player in India’s eCommerce sector, has partnered with Amazon rival Flipkart to integrate Flipkart’s SuperCoins program into its KwikCheckout solution.

With this partnership, SuperCoins, a rewards ecosystem by Flipkart, will now be accessible to D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brands using GoKwik’s services. The startup said that this will enhance the shopping experience for Indian consumers and merchants.

How will it benefit customers and merchants?

GoKwik said the integration allows Flipkart customers, including those from Myntra, Cleartrip, and Shopsy, to redeem SuperCoins across a wide range of D2C brands.

The startup expects that the feature will improve the checkout experience, leading to better customer retention and conversion rates. Shoppers can redeem SuperCoins directly at the checkout without redirection, and they can see their points upfront. The partnership is also anticipated to attract new users and reactivate dormant customers, the release notes.

The impact on ecommerce and its growth

Chirag Taneja, Co-Founder and CEO of GoKwik, highlighted the significance of this partnership. He stated, “eCommerce and Flipkart have become synonymous with each other. Welcoming Flipkart as our partner and integrating SuperCoins into our checkout will be beneficial for our merchants to drive higher conversions & retention.”

“As a result of this collaboration, eCommerce consumers will be the biggest beneficiaries by having access to SuperCoins beyond the Flipkart universe of platforms. It will lead to a unified eCommerce ecosystem where both customers and brands thrive,” Chirag said.

What are GoKwik’s offerings?

GoKwik, a data and technology-driven company, focuses on enhancing eCommerce and D2C brands’ growth. With a network of over 100 million shoppers, GoKwik has supported over 1000 brands, improving conversion rates and reducing return to origin losses.

The company, led by Chirag Taneja (CEO), Vivek Bajpai (CTO), and Ankush Talwar (Chief Data Scientist), is backed by notable investors. GoKwik said it aims to democratize the shopping experience, addressing industry pain points like COD RTO and enhancing marketing ROI with solutions like KwikChat.

Long before Edgar Wright’s The Running Man hits theaters this week, the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz had been thinking about making it.
