ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, has introduced a ChatGPT-like tool called Feishu Intelligent Buddy for office workers. The tool integrates into the Feishu enterprise collaboration platform and serves as a virtual assistant, handling tasks such as scheduling meetings, note-taking, summarizing documents, and translations. Feishu CEO Xie Xin emphasized the importance of adapting to the era of AI and stated that the chatbot is designed to continuously gain new abilities. Customers can choose from different language models for the assistant, including MiniMax, Zhipu AI, and Baichuan. Anker Innovations Technology is among the Chinese companies already using the Feishu Intelligent Buddy.
