Infurnia Secures Funding To Simplify Workflow For Architecture & Interior Design Industry

SaaS startup Infurnia Technologies has secured $1.2 Mn funding led by Yogesh Choudary of Jaipur Rugs. With this, the total amount of funding secured by the startup till date stands at $3.7 Mn. 

Founded in 2014 by Lovepreet Mann, Nikhil Kumar and Parul Jain, Infurnia is an all-in-one cloud-native design software for the architecture and interior design industry. It offers innovative cloud-based all-in-one design software solutions.

Infurnia will use the funds to boost its market outreach and continued product innovation.

Commenting on the funding round, cofounder Kumar said, “We needed product-oriented investors who understand it takes time to create a usable and marketable product in the deep tech space we are into.”

Currently, the startup claims to have a 300+ active client base. Though it has more than 10 international clients, Infurnia majorly caters to the Indian market. It counts companies including  Livspace, Hometown, Durian, Gopalan, Purva Streaks by Puravankara, Homeworks by Prominance, among others in its clientele.

The startup said that it plans to enter the North American market by hiring a local sales team by H1 2024. 

Infurnia aims to offer an integrated and easy-to-access design platform for the architecture and interior design ecosystem in India and abroad. For the same, it provides all the necessary tools on one subscription-based cloud-based software for design, documentation and visualisation of any architecture or interior design. 

According to the startup, cloud-based solutions are the future of the interior designing industry. Infurnia claims to be revenue focused with a current month-on-month growth rate of 15%, as it is on the path to be cash-flow positive by the mid of 2024.

Recently, interior design startup Flipspaces secured $4 Mn to expand its operations on the West Coast of the US and strengthen its tech.

In August, Boxs secured $1.6 Mn funding to offer a library of modules for interior designers and architects to create customised designs.

According to an IMARC study, the Indian interior design market reached $ 28.6 Bn in 2022. It is further expected to grow to $51.4 Bn by 2028 with a 10.3% CAGR.
