Tech-enabled pet-care startup Supertails raised $10 million in Series A led by Fireside Ventures

Full-stack tech-enabled pet-care startup Supertails raised $10 million in Series A led by Fireside Ventures where existing lead investors Saama Capital and DSG Consumer Partners with renowned angels like Kunal Shah (Founder, CRED); Sanjay Kapoor (Founder and President, Genesis Luxury Fashion Pvt Ltd); Varun Alagh (Co-founder and CEO, MamaEarth); Ankit Nagori (Founder, Curefoods); and Shashank Mehta (Founder and CEO, The Whole Truth Foods) also participated.

Supertails is a full-stack platform that provides pet supplies, online vet consultations (over 20,000 pet consultations have been completed to date), and online behavioural training. The funds will be used to double down on developing innovative technology, including the launch of its own app. It is also developing its own direct-to-consumer brand, Henlo. Additionally, Supertails will concentrate on vertical expansion (vet diets and pet pharmacy channels), supply chain strengthening, and post-sale experience innovation. It has over 10,000 SKUs and 200+ partner brands in pet food, treats, accessories, grooming, and other categories. V-diets was also launched to sell these products online.

Digital lending startup Finnable has raised Rs 250 crore this August in a funding round led by Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners) and TVS Capital.
