Ritesh Agarwal Joins Shark Tank India Season 3 as Youngest Shark

Ritesh Agarwal, the self-made billionaire and founder of OYO Rooms, is set to become the youngest Shark on the panel of Shark Tank India Season 3. He joins a distinguished lineup of Sharks, including Aman Gupta (co-founder and CMO of boAt), Amit Jain (CEO and co-founder of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com), Anupam Mittal (founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), and Peyush Bansal (founder & CEO of Lenskart.com).

Agarwal’s entrepreneurial journey began when he founded OYO Rooms at the age of 19 in 2013. What started as a budget accommodation portal, Oravel Stays, has now grown into one of the world’s largest hotel chains, with a presence in over 80 countries and more than 1.5 million rooms.

His participation in Shark Tank India Season 3 was announced through a viral video posted by SET India, where the Sharks enthusiastically welcomed him to the show.
