Angel investor Adhvith Dhuddu invests $250K in home décor brand DecorTwist

Delhi NCR-based home décor startup DecorTwist has raised $250,000 in a seed funding round led by angel investor Adhvith Dhuddu.

According to the company’s statement, The raised capital would be used towards fueling its mission of innovation and growth. The startup will focus on product line expansion, marketing outreach and facilitating growth into the B2B segment.

What does DecorTwist do?

Founded in March 2022 by Anupam Rajey and Nidhi Bajpai, DecorTwist aims to provide high-quality home products while offering a wide range of categories like dining, decor, gardening, furniture, pooja essentials and gifting under one roof.

The startup, which competes with other players, including Pepperfry, Nestasia, Woodenstreet, and HomeTown, claims to have seen a 2.5-fold increase in orders and has doubled its team within 1.5 years since it started.

“At DecorTwist, we’ve always believed that home décor is about more than just products – it’s about creating an environment that reflects your unique personality and style. The funds raised through this round will be strategically utilized in product line expansion, marketing outreach and facilitating growth into the B2B segment,” said Anupam Rajey and Nidhi Bajpai, founders of DecorTwist, in a joint statement.

Who is Adhvith Dhuddu?

Adhvith Dhuddu, based in Bengaluru, is an angel investor and founder & CEO of AliveNow. Previously, Dhuddu has backed startups, including California Burrito, Wrap2Earn/LytAds, OxyZEN Express, Guarented.com & CarterPorter.in (CarterX).

AliveNow specializes in creating interactive and technologically advanced marketing experiences for various brands and agencies around the world.

The startup collaborates with brands and agencies to create experiences that blend marketing and technology. Since its inception in 2009, it has developed a myriad of experiences in areas like Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual/Mixed Reality (VR/MR), Hyper-casual Games, and Generative AI.

According to Adhvith’s LinkedIn profile, Alivenow has partnered with major platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, 8th Wall, and Niantic to deliver AR, VR, and MR experiences. The studio has worked with over 1,500 brands and 500 agencies globally, focusing on innovative and immersive technological experiences.
