ZS ranks top in “Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India”

Global management consulting and technology company ZS has been recognized as one of the “Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India” for the third year in a row. 

In the 2023 edition of the study conducted by Avtar & Seramount, ZS stood out as an “Exemplar of Inclusion”, a title that acknowledges the firm’s efforts in creating an equitable and inclusive workspace.

This encompasses a broad spectrum of diversity in the company, including gender, disability, LGBTQ+ communities, various generations, and regional backgrounds.

The process

According to a statement, The study involved a rigorous assessment of 354 companies from diverse industries and geographical locations. To participate, companies needed to have a minimum of 500 employees in India and were required to submit detailed data on their gender inclusion policies, programs, and practices. 

This year, the study highlighted a significant increase in gender diversity, with women making up an average of 36.9% of the workforce across the top 100 companies, a substantial rise from 25% in 2016.

Notably, the top 10 companies, including ZS, reported an impressive 41.7% representation of women in 2023, indicating a promising trajectory towards achieving gender balance by 2030.
