Long-serving Swiggy executive Anuj Rathi has embarked on a new journey by joining fintech company Jupiter as its Chief Product and Marketing Officer. With over 18 years of industry experience, Rathi will collaborate closely with Jupiter’s founder, Jitendra Gupta, and assume leadership in product development, design, growth strategies, and marketing initiatives at this neo-banking firm.

Jupiter is renowned for its customer-centric approach to creating a tailored personal finance experience. This encompasses services such as account setup, comprehensive analysis of consumption and savings patterns, card services, fixed deposits, and investment strategies. Behind the scenes, these services are powered by the private sector lender Federal Bank, as neobanks do not yet receive official recognition from the Reserve Bank of India.

An alumnus of IIT Kanpur, Anuj Rathi boasts an impressive professional history, including stints at prominent e-commerce firms like Swiggy and Flipkart, as well as tenures with major corporations like Walmart. During his tenure at Swiggy, Rathi spearheaded various pivotal initiatives, including product development, marketing, financial services, and strategic partnerships. His contributions led to the launch of groundbreaking offerings such as Swiggy One, Instamart, and Gourmet, setting new industry standards.

Jupiter’s founder, Jitendra Gupta, expressed enthusiasm about this strategic addition to the team, stating, “Having someone of Anuj Rathi’s pedigree, experience, and track record will be an invaluable asset to Jupiter as we continue to double down on our mission of enabling financial wellness for millions of Indians. We felt that Anuj is the most suited leader to play an important role for Jupiter’s next phase of growth.”

Rathi shared his excitement about joining Jupiter and highlighted his mission to enhance customers’ relationships with their finances and financial aspirations.

In recent months, Swiggy has experienced a series of high-level departures, including Ashish Lingamneni, Vice President and Head of Brand and Product Marketing, Nishad Kenkre, Vice President and Head of Revenue and Growth at Instamart, and Chief Technology Officer Dale Vaz.
