Corning and Optiemus Infracom inaugurate cover-glass finishing facility in Tamil Nadu

Materials science major Corning Incorporated on Friday officially inaugurated the Bharat Innovative Glass Technologies (BIG Tech) facility. The Corning Gorilla Glass finishing facility with Optiemus Infracom will deliver high-quality cover-glass components for the mobile consumer electronics industry.
Located at SIPCOT Pillaipakkam Industrial Park in the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu, the facility will have a capacity of 30 million pieces of cover glass in its first phase of production.
