Amazon Web Services has launched three AI agents designed to work autonomously across the software development lifecycle.
This move marks a shift from tools that require constant human oversight to agents that can operate independently as team members. AWS announced the agents, known as frontier agents, at the AWS re:Invent conference today. These three agents, now in preview, are the first of what will likely be many, AWS indicated.
