I Finally Got Used to the New iOS 26 Safari After I Made These Changes

After downloading iOS 26, my iPhone felt like a different device. It was almost like I was using someone else’s phone. I had some strong feelings about the overall look of Liquid Glass, but what surprised me the most was Safari.

What happened to the old, full-size toolbar with the Bookmarks and All Tabs icons? Those UI elements have been present in every iOS version of Safari since the very first iPhone in 2007. I can appreciate the extra screen space I get with this new Compact toolbar layout, but…
