No automaker has matched Tesla’s ability to deliver over-the-air software updates despite years of effort and billions in spending. Tesla introduced the technology in 2012 and issued 42 updates within six months, Jean-Marie Lapeyre, Capgemini’s chief technology officer for automotive, told WIRED.
