Editors’ note, Sept. 18: The Consumer Product Safety Commission today issued a notice about the Anker recall, but there have been no new products added to those cited earlier. Anker said this in a statement to CNET: “This is not a new or expanded recall — it follows the actions we have already announced. The CPSC notice is part of the standard US regulatory process, and it’s common for the government’s formal announcement to come several weeks after a company has begun a recall.”
