Tech startup Nothing has landed in controversy after it was found to be showcasing licensed stock photographs as camera samples from its new Phone 3.
According to a report by The Verge, five images displayed on in-store demo units—including shots of a spiral staircase, a car headlight, a glass, a window, and a portrait of a woman—were actually taken by professional photographers in 2023 using other cameras, and are available for licensing on the Stills stock photo platform.
