The Bharat Web3 Association (BWA) has issued guidelines to safeguard consumers in India’s burgeoning Web3 sector, which currently operates without formal government regulation. Recognizing the need for responsible practices, the independent crypto advisory body urges affiliated firms to adopt sound business and operational protocols. A key component of these guidelines mandates the establishment of a comprehensive complaint management system. This system aims to efficiently address and resolve consumer grievances, fostering trust and accountability within the Web3 ecosystem. The BWA’s initiative seeks to promote responsible growth and protect consumers in the absence of official regulatory frameworks.
