On March 17th, Bitcoin experienced minor price dips, falling under two percent across both national and international cryptocurrency exchanges. According to CoinMarketCap, the leading cryptocurrency’s price hovered around $83,687 internationally. Indian exchanges, such as CoinSwitch and Giottus, displayed slightly varying prices, ranging from approximately $83,810 to $87,506.
Bitcoin’s price stagnation has persisted for over two weeks. This period of sluggishness follows a price decline earlier in March, attributed to escalating tensions involving former US President Donald Trump. The market appears to be reacting to these external factors, contributing to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Bitcoin’s value. This period of instability highlights the vulnerability of the cryptocurrency market to geopolitical events and wider economic forces.
