Sainsbury Rolls Out ‘Your Nectar Prices’ Nationwide: A Game Changer in Personalised Loyalty

Sainsbury’s is set to transform the way Britons shop with the nationwide rollout of ‘Your Nectar Prices’ directly to checkouts starting Friday, July 25, 2025. This bold step in its loyalty journey now allows customers to receive personalised discounts instantly at tills—offering convenience and deeper savings at every touchpoint.

Personalised Pricing Now At Checkouts

Building on the success of its SmartShop app and online channels, Sainsbury Nectar Prices will now be applied at physical checkouts. Customers previously had to shop through the app or online to access these tailored discounts. This expansion means that millions more customers can enjoy exclusive offers simply by tapping their Nectar app before shopping.

The ‘Your Nectar Prices’ feature offers customers up to 10 personalised discounts weekly, based on their purchasing habits. According to Sainsbury’s, this initiative has already saved shoppers over £60 million in the past year, with over one million users actively engaging with the program every week. The potential savings are significant, with individuals able to pocket £150 annually on their regular groceries.

Sainsbury’s Nectar Loyalty Scheme Changes

These enhancements are part of a wider update to the Sainsbury’s Nectar loyalty scheme, which now provides both general Nectar Price discounts and the more targeted Your Nectar Prices. Customers simply need to be digitally registered and unlock their offers through the Nectar app or website every Friday. Once activated, the deals are automatically applied at checkout—no paper coupons or barcode scans required.

Mark Given, Sainsbury’s Chief Marketing, Data & Sustainability Officer, emphasised the retailer’s ambition:

“Shoppers want to feel recognised and rewarded… ‘Your Nectar Prices’ delivers extra savings on the products they love most.”

This approach demonstrates Sainsbury’s focus on personalisation and digital convenience, placing it ahead of competitors in the UK grocery sector.

What’s Included in the Offers?

The Sainsbury Nectar Prices program covers a broad array of categories including:

  • Fresh food
  • Household essentials
  • Health & beauty
  • Baby and pet care

Shoppers are encouraged to unlock their offers each week to get the most out of their loyalty experience. The more they shop, the smarter the recommendations and the better the deals.

Why This Matters for Shoppers

In an era of rising living costs, these targeted savings give UK families greater flexibility and purchasing power. With Sainsbury Nectar becoming more dynamic and easy to use, consumers can now blend convenience with tangible savings across every visit.

For loyal customers, the blend of Nectar Prices and Your Nectar Prices makes it easier than ever to shop smart and save big, without needing to switch retailers or search for paper coupons.
