Deeptech startup ZestIoT raised $6.5 million in Series A led by IvyCap Ventures

Deeptech startup ZestIoT raised $6.5 million in its Series A round, led by IvyCap Ventures where global venture fund Loyal VC also participated.

The business wants to use the new cash to double down on AI-driven automation in the aviation industry to cut aircraft turnaround time and improve passenger experience.

ZestIoT, founded in 2016 by Amit Sukhija, is an IoT and AI-powered aviation platform that assists the aviation ecosystem in digitising last-mile operations, improving operational efficiencies, and introducing predictability into day-to-day operations.

GroundRadar, headquartered in Hyderabad, brings together airlines, airports, and handlers to collaborate and accelerate the speed of aircraft turnaround while maintaining operational efficiency and safety.

The business says that its NoCodeAI platform would help not only the aviation industry, but also the industrial and oil and gas industries, improve the safety and security of daily operations by increasing operational efficiency.

“With increasing demand from the aviation and manufacturing sectors, we see a strong push for automating operations and empowering workers to make better decisions.” We anticipate a new wave of novel use cases being built by our clients utilising our platform as a result of developments in sensors, edge computing, and other connectivity technologies’, said Sukhija, founder and CEO of ZestIoT.
