NIMS University Hosts “Innovation Showcase – INNOVATE, SUSTAIN, HEAL” to Drive Future Healthcare Solutions

Jaipur, Rajasthan: The Nims Sushma Innovation and Incubation Center (NSIIC) at NIMS University Rajasthan successfully organized The Innovation Showcase – INNOVATE, SUSTAIN, HEAL: A Future for Healthcare on 3rd February 2025 at the NIMS & R campus. The event brought together students, mentors, and healthcare innovators in a vibrant display of ideas aimed at building a more sustainable and resilient healthcare future.

The showcase empowered 14 student teams, involving 35 students (16 female and 19 male), mentored by 8 faculty members, to present innovative concepts, prototypes, and design solutions. With themes ranging from biodegradable nanomedicine to smart pill dispensers and eco-conscious hospital frameworks, the event celebrated the power of youth-driven healthcare innovation.

Purpose and Format

The initiative aimed to nurture design thinking and practical innovation in healthcare through hands-on exploration and interdisciplinary teamwork. Projects were evaluated based on their creativity, feasibility, sustainability, and potential real-world impact.

Judging & Evaluation

A respected jury of academic leaders used a structured rubric based on nine critical evaluation parameters, including innovation, feasibility, sustainability, and user experience. Each criterion followed a 5-point scale, ensuring fair, transparent, and detailed feedback.
