Google lays off hundreds from Android, Pixel teams in latest round of job cuts: Report

In another round of job cuts this year, Alphabet-owned Google has laid off hundreds of employees from its platforms and devices unit. This includes teams working on Android, Pixel devices and the Chrome browser, The Information reported on Friday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
