Samsung Galaxy S25 series will have batteries made of cobalt recycled from used smartphones

Samsung Electronics announced that the Galaxy S25 series will incorporate at least 50% recycled cobalt in its batteries. This marks the first time that batteries in the Galaxy lineup will be made using recycled cobalt sourced from previously used Galaxy smartphones.
