After Swiggy’s Bolt, foodtech major Zomato has launched a 15-minute food delivery service.

The service is currently operational in parts of Delhi NCR. Zomato’s app shows an option for quick deliveries in a radius of about 2 km.

Inc42 has reached out to Zomato for further information on the launch of the new service. The story will be updated on receiving a response.

The development was first reported by ET.

This comes months after Swiggy launched its quick food delivery service Bolt in October last year in select cities like Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.

For the same, Swiggy has partnered with over 2,700 restaurants, including popular global chains such as KFC, McDonald’s and Starbucks, to offer quick-to-prepare items to customers within a two kilometre radius.

It is also pertinent to note that Zomato’s quick commerce arm Blinkit launched a new app ‘Bistro’ last month to deliver meals, snacks, and beverages like tea and coffee in up to 15 minutes.

Earlier today, Zomato’s shares plummeted 5% after Jefferies presented a bearish outlook. The brokerage firm gave a ‘Hold’ rating to the stock citing the growing competition in the quick commerce space in India.

Now, the same can be said about the intense battle in the food delivery space on quick deliveries. For instance, Swiggy recently announced plans to expand its quick food delivery services in 400 more cities.

Swiggy has already launched ‘Cafe’ to deliver snacks and beverages in up to 15 minutes. The service is currently available in select areas of Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, Zepto delivers fast food in 10 minutes under its ‘Zepto Cafe’ offering. Recently, the company also launched a separate app for it.

Other players trying to grab a share of the pie are Swish and Zing.

The best earbuds offer incredible portability and versatility, but they do have one key weakness to some audiophiles: They don’t sound natural. After all, when you’re in the same room as musicians and speakers or in a concert, there’s air and the structure of your ear that the sound has to get through before it reaches your earholes. Because of their ear canal-blocking design, earbuds simply can’t replicate that same style of sound. But what if there was a solution to that problem? If you’re Final, then… Source link

An AI chatbot can do a lot of things. However, one of its newer skills that doesn’t get as much attention is coding. The likes of ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok have all been trained up on the art of ‘vibe coding.’ This is, quite simply, the ability to write code by inputting prompts. By doing this, anyone can build apps, websites, and tools with absolutely no coding experience. While it started out a bit rocky, vibe coding has seen huge growth in the past couple of months, now pumping out some pretty… Source link
