The second day spotlighted the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) through a session led by Mr. Partha Sengupta, Senior Manager, NDLI Club, IIT Kharagpur.

Day 4 – Teachers as Architects of Societal Progress

The fourth day featured an inspiring keynote by Dr. Radha Sharma, Principal of Stani Memorial PG College, titled “The Evolving Role of Teachers in Society.”
Dr. Sharma emphasized that modern educators are far more than transmitters of academic content—they are mentors, role models, and active contributors to community development. She underscored the need for value-based education that nurtures critical thinking, empathy, and civic responsibility, positioning teachers as key drivers of both intellectual and moral growth.

Day 5 – Practical Skills and Valedictory Insights

The closing day was dedicated to developing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) strategies, crafting effective e-learning content, and mastering impactful presentation skills. Prof. Sarina Kalia, Head, Department of Physical Education, University of Rajasthan, led the session, offering actionable tips and real-world examples to make lessons both engaging and outcome-oriented.

In her valedictory remarks, Prof. Barbara Kangan, President of SIIRM, encapsulated the essence of the programme with the words:

“A good teacher imparts knowledge, but a great teacher instills values into life.”

Her closing message resonated deeply with the participants, reinforcing the need for educators to continually evolve in both skill and spirit.
