Luxembourg’s government-owned Earth Observation System satellite, LUXEOSys, was launched into orbit on Tuesday from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
The satellite spent 12-minutes on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket before being released and deployed into a sun-synchronous Low Earth Orbit at an altitude of approximately 450 kilometres.
